Joining the CFUW is a great way to meet other women with similar interests, get involved in the community, and have fun. Members can enjoy stimulating speakers at our monthly meetings, participate in a variety of social activities and interest groups, and expand new and old friendships. Our members are involved in all aspects of the Ajax and Pickering communities and will help you feel more connected with your community.

Here are a few of the social activities we enjoy throughout the year: 

New Members Tea:    We welcome our new members in the early fall by giving them a chance to meet other members of the club away from the formality of our meetings.

Christmas Reception:    This event is traditionally held at the President's home, with goodies provided by all in attendance. A gift exchange, and activities built around a Christmas theme are highlights of the evening.

Annual June Dinner:    Our final general meeting of the year is held at a local restaurant where we enjoy good food while taking care of business.
